The family of Sean McAlary would like to express their thanks and gratitude to everyone who supported them during our recent bereavement.
We would like to thank friends and family who provided practical support and spent time with Sean during his short illness.
We are also grateful to everyone who joined us to remember his life and say goodbye at the funeral home and at his funeral service.
The professionalism and kindness shown by the staff of Draperstown Surgery, Laurel House and the Macmillan Nurses had an immensely positive impact on Sean’s final weeks and we are immensely grateful to them for their work.
J. A. Gormley Funeral Directors attended to Sean after his passing and Father Patrick Doherty delivered his requiem mass – we thank them for their help and compassion in sad circumstances.
Further thanks goes to Susan Cullinan, Kathleen McCullough and Gavin O’Kane for speaking at Sean’s funeral and to his work colleagues at O’Kane’s Plumbing & Electric for forming a guard of honour as his body was delivered to its final resting place.
Sean will be forever loved and missed by his wife Mary and his children Joanne, Paddy, and Claire.
Sean’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, Glen on Friday 19th December at 7:30pm.
