Acknowledgement from the family of the late Monica Glass

We, the family of Monica Glass (née O’Boyle), wish to express our sincerest thanks for the sympathy and support during our recent bereavement. Monica was a much-loved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister and aunt.

We are extremely grateful and thankful to all those who attended the wake, came to the funeral or joined in via webcam. Many thanks to those who brought food and helped at the wake in any way. Thank you to those who sent or brought mass cards, sympathy cards and shared kind words of condolences online.

We would like to offer our thanks to Fr Paddy Doherty for his spiritual support, guidance during the wake, along with the celebration of the requiem mass. Thanks to the sacristan Sally McKeown and Hannah Ferguson for the beautiful music and singing.

A special thanks to the Doctors, District Nurses and staff at Maghera Health Centre. Along with the staff on Ward 2A City Hospital Belfast, Ward C5 Antrim Area Hospital, the Palliative Care Team and Community Care Team for the extremely compassionate and professional care they provided for Monica. 

Thanks to J. A. Gormley Funeral Directors Maghera and Coleraine for the dignified and caring service they provided. Also, to St. Patrick's College Maghera for the Guard of Honour, Watty Grahams Club and the team of club volunteers who provided the refreshments after the funeral. and to Gavin who prepared Monica's resting place.

It is impossible to thank every individual so please take this acknowledgement as a heartfelt token of gratitude and thanks.

Monica’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick's Church, Glen on Friday 13^th February at 7.30pm.
