We, the family of the late Michael Convery, would like to express our deep appreciation to all those who sympathised with us and supported us during our recent bereavement.

We are deeply grateful for everyone who visited our home and attended the funeral, many of whom travelled long distances to be with us.

Thank you to all who sent sympathy cards, flowers and messages of support. A special word of thanks to those who provided food and to our extended family and friends who kindly undertook the catering and traffic arrangements during the wake.

We greatly appreciate all those who attended the Requiem Mass as well as those who followed the live stream and gathered along the route to the chapel. Your presence brought great comfort to the family.

We would also like to express our deep gratitude to all the Doctors, District Nurses, Pharmacies and Marie Curie nurses for their care and support.

The family would like to thank Fr Kieran O’Doherty and Fr Brian Slater for their support and Fr Paddy Doherty for his fitting tribute at the Requiem Mass.

We are sincerely thankful for the beautiful music that enriched the liturgy, for the sacristan and Eucharistic Ministers who assisted during the Mass and for the gravediggers. Thanks also to Tony Doherty and Aidan Conway for providing marquees and lighting to prepare for the wake.

Thanks to P&N Quality Meats who provided the food for the funeral dinner, to Fallaghloon Hall for the use of the hall and to the friends and neighbours who served the food after the funeral.

Special thanks to J. A. Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera and Coleraine for their professional, compassionate and dignified manner in the way they conducted the funeral arrangements and supported the family throughout the days of the wake and funeral.

We are indebted to so many, and while it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.

Michael’s Month’s Mind Mass was celebrated on Friday 31st October at 7:30pm in St. Patrick’s Church, Glen.
