Acknowledgement from the family of the late Gertrude Conway

Kathleen, sister of recently deceased Gertrude (Gertie) Conway wishes to express her sincere thanks and heartfelt gratitude to all those who sympathised with her during the loss of her dear sister.

Kathleen is deeply grateful to everyone who attended the funeral, those who joined via webcam, sent mass cards, flowers, sympathy messages and offered comfort and support. Your kindness and thoughtfulness have been a great source of strength to her during this very difficult time. 

Kathleen would especially like to extend her thanks to Dr Shaw, Maghera Health Centre, the Medical Staff in Antrim Area Hospital, the entire team in Ward 4B of Royal Victoria Hospital where Gertie received excellent care and attention.

Sincere appreciation to Fr. Darach Mac Giolla Cathain, Chaplin RVH and Fr. Paddy Doherty, Glen, Maghera, who offered spiritual support and prayers and for the celebration of the beautiful requiem mass. 

A special word of thanks to J. A. Gormley, Funeral Directors, Maghera and Coleraine, for the caring and dignified way they carried out the funeral arrangements. 

To Grainne Small, singer and Patrick Shevlin, musician,  who provided the beautiful music, enriching the solemnity of the funeral mass. 

Thank you to the ladies in Watty Graham Club who provided the lovely refreshments after the funeral. A very welcoming and friendly team.
