Acknowledgement from the family of the late Rosemary Porter

We the family of the late Rosemary (Rosie) Porter would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised and supported us through our bereavement.

Thanks to all who attended the wake and funeral. To those who sent Mass/ sympathy cards and messages through social media.

We thank all those who cared for Rosie. The staff at Marriott House, medical staff at Antrim Area hospital (Ward B5), Doctors in Draperstown surgery and staff in O’Kane’s pharmacy. Thank you for all the care and compassion particularly over the last four years of the life.

Our sincere thanks to Fr. P. Doherty and Fr. K. O’Doherty for their spiritual support, the beautiful Requiem Mass and continued support following the funeral.

We would like to thank those who participated in the Funeral mass, poll bearers, those who carried the symbolic tributes to Rosie’s life and readers. Thank you to Maura Kelly for the beautiful music and singing, th the sacristan and to Eilish from Marriott House who delivered a touching tribute at the end of Mass.

Our heartfelt thanks to Michael and Nicholas from J. A. Gormley Funeral Directors Maghera and Coleraine for the dignified and professional way the funeral arrangements were executed. A special thanks to Gerard’s florist for a beautiful family wreath and to the staff of Walsh’s hotel who catered and served refreshments after the funeral.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our deep appreciation to everyone who helped and supported us in any way.

Thank you to Rosie for being a kind loving, giving, supportive wife, daughter, sister aunt and friend, you will be forever missed.

Rosie’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Patrick’s Church, Glen on Friday 3^rd July at 7.30pm.
