The family of the late Susan Harkin wish to express their heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation to all those who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended the wake, sent Mass and sympathy cards, attended Susan’s funeral, or shared messages of condolence. Your kindness and comforting words have been a source of strength to us during this difficult time. We also extend our sincere thanks to those who travelled long distances to be with us, and to our neighbours and friends who provided food, flowers, and practical support throughout the wake and funeral.

Our special thanks go to Father Paddy Doherty and Father Kieran O’Doherty for celebrating the Requiem Mass, and for their spiritual support to our family. Grateful thanks also to the sacristan for her help, and to Raymond O’Kane and Grace Kelly for the beautiful singing and music.

We would like to acknowledge the generosity of Kelly’s Eurospar for providing refreshments during the wake and Walsh’s Hotel for both refreshments during the wake and after the funeral.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the medical staff and district nurses at Maghera Health Centre for the care, dedication, and attention they provided to Susan and for their compassion at her time of passing. We also wish to thank Harkin’s Pharmacy, carers from both the Trust and Ann’s Care as well as sitters and nurses from Marie Curie who cared for Susan with kindness and dignity.

Our sincere gratitude goes to Michael and Nicholas Gormley of J. A. Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera and Coleraine, for the dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. We also thank those who prepared Susan’s final resting place, and we are truly grateful for your care, kindness, and personal attention.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude.

Susan’s month's mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 14th August at 7.30pm in St. Patrick’s Church, Glen.
