We, the family of the late Mary McGuckin, would like to express our deep appreciation to all those who sympathised with us and supported us during our recent bereavement.
Heartfelt thanks to the many friends, family and neighbours for their kindness throughout the wake and funeral. We are hugely grateful to all those who called at the family home during the wake, brought Mass cards and sympathy cards, shared messages of compassion on all platforms, brought food, helped with catering and traffic arrangements.
We greatly appreciate all those who attended Mum’s Requiem Mass as well as those who followed the live stream and gathered along the route to the church. Your presence brought great comfort to the family.
We would also like to express our deep gratitude to all the doctors and nurses, Moneymore Pharmacy and Connected Health for their exceptional care and support in looking after Mummy.
The family would like to thank all the priests who attended to Mummy’s spiritual needs during her final years and in particular, her recent illness. Profound and heartfelt gratitude to Fr McCaul for the most beautiful, touching Requiem Mass.
The family are deeply indebted to the grandchildren and the McGuigan family who provided the beautiful and endearing music. Huge thanks also to those who took part in the liturgy and gifts. Your contribution added so much to the wonderful tribute and celebration of Mummy’s life.
Sincere appreciation also to the Church Sacristan, Eucharistic Ministers, altar server, Devlin Media, stewards and gravediggers, as well as those who helped with the marquee and lighting.
Thanks also to McKee’s who provided the food for the funeral dinner, to St. Martin’s GAC for the use of the hall and to the volunteers who served the food after the funeral.
Special thanks to J. A. Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera for their professional, compassionate and dignified manner in the way they conducted the funeral arrangements and supported the family throughout the days of the wake and funeral.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all with our sincere and heartfelt thanks.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
Mary’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 25th October at 7.30p.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, Keenaught, Desertmartin.
Everyone is welcome to call at Tirgan Hall, Desertmartin after Mass for tea and refreshments.
Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.
St. Martin, St. Gerard and St. Pio pray for her.
