Acknowledgement from the family of the late John McCloy

The family of the late John McCloy wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. We are deeply grateful for everyone who visited our home and attended the funeral, many of whom travelled long distances to be with us. Thank you to all who sent sympathy cards, flowers, and offered their support. A special word of thanks to those who provided food and to our extended family and friends who kindly undertook the catering during the wake.

We wish to express our sincere gratitude to Dr McNeill, Maghera Health Centre for his diligent medical support, the carers who looked after John over the past year and for their support to us as a family. Our special thanks go to Father Graham for his kindness and for celebrating John’s Requiem Mass with such a moving ceremony. We are grateful to Una Magill for her beautiful music and singing at the funeral, and to Patrick Boyle, Sacristan and Eucharistic Ministers who assisted during the mass.

We sincerely thank Termoneeny Cycling Club, St Brigid’s Primary School and Cargin Camogie for their touching  Guard of Honour. Thank you also to Erins Own Lavey for their support and for providing the post funeral refreshments and to all who assisted in serving them. We are especially grateful to J.A. Gormley Funeral Director, Maghera & Coleraine for their support and for the professional and dignified manner in which all funeral arrangements were carried out.

As it would be impossible to thanks everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for all your intentions.

John’s Month’s Mind Mass was celebrated in St. Mary’s Church Lavey, on Monday 27^th October at 7pm.
