The family and partner of the late Eóin McCusker would like to extend our heartful thanks to everyone who supported us during the recent and deeply painful loss of our beloved son, brother, and partner.

We are especially grateful to all who visited our home, attended the funeral, and travelled long distances to be with us.  Your presence and kindness brought great comfort during this difficult time.

Thank you to everyone who sent Mass and sympathy cards, brought flowers, phoned, and called to the house in the days following the funeral.

A special word of thanks to our friends, neighbours, and local businesses who generously provided food, and to our extended family for their help with catering and managing traffic during the wake. Your support meant so much to us.

We are sincerely thankful to the doctors and staff at Maghera Clinic, the district and community nurses, the team at Belfast City Hospital – Bridgewater Suite, Marie Curie NI, and Harkins Pharmacy for the exceptional care they gave to Eóin and the compassion they showed to us as a family.

Our deep appreciation goes to Father Paddy Doherty (PP) and Father Kieran O’Doherty for their spiritual guidance, their presence at our home, and for celebrating Eóin’s Requiem Mass with such warmth and sincerity. Their pastoral care at Eóin’s bedside brought great comfort.

We are grateful to Una McGill for the beautiful music that enriched the liturgy, and to the sacristan and Eucharistic Ministers who assisted during the Mass. Thanks also to Tony Doherty for providing the marquee and to MFL Plant Machinery for helping us prepare for Eóin’s wake.

We really wish to thank Watty Grahams GAA Club for providing the post-funeral refreshments and all who helped with serving them.

A special thanks to Michael and Nicholas Gormley of J. A. Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera and Coleraine, for their professional, dignified, and caring handling of all funeral arrangements. We also thank those who prepared the grave.

We are indebted to so many, and while it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Eóin will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Eóin’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church, Glen on Friday 24th October at 7:30pm, and will be available to view online via: st-patricks-church-maghera - MCN
