Acknowledgement from the family of the late Deirdre McErlean

We, the family of the late Deirdre McErlean, would like to express our deep appreciation to all those who sympathised with us and supported us during our recent bereavement.

We are deeply grateful for everyone who attended the wake and funeral.  Thank you to all who sent sympathy cards, flowers and messages of support. Special thanks to friends and family who provided refreshments during the wake. Also thanks to the friends, neighbours and Glen GAC who kindly undertook the traffic arrangements during the wake and funeral.

We greatly appreciate all those who attended the Requiem Mass, your presence brought us great comfort.

We would also like to express our deep gratitude to all the Doctors, nurses and staff at Bellaghy Medical Centre, at Antrim Area Hospital and Anne and all staff at Roe Pharmacy for the great care and attention that they gave to Deirdre.

The family would like to thank Fr Kieran O’Doherty and Fr Paddy Doherty for their fitting tribute at the Requiem Mass.

We are sincerely thankful for the beautiful music from Neill Collins, the Eucharistic Ministers who assisted during the Mass and for the gravediggers.

Thanks to all the chefs & staff at the Ponderosa for the funeral dinner.

Special thanks to J. A. Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera for their professional, compassionate and dignified manner in the way they conducted the funeral arrangements and supported the family throughout the days of the wake and funeral.

We are indebted to so many, and while it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Deirdre’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 28^th November at 7:30pm in St. Patrick’s Church, Glen.
