We, the family of the late Patricia (Paddy) McGrath, would like to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us and offered support during our recent bereavement.
We would especially like to thank our extended family, neighbours and friends who supported us throughout and all those who attended the wake and funeral.
Thank you to all who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, and messages of condolence as well as those who travelled long distances to be with us.
Many thanks to all those who brought food, local businesses who provided food, those who helped at the wake and supported us in so many ways. We are eternally grateful.
A special word of thanks to Fr Paddy Doherty and Fr Kieran O'Doherty for their Spiritual care during Paddy’s last few months and for the very fitting and personal Requiem Mass.
We are grateful to the Gribben Sisters for the beautiful music.
We extend our thanks also to the staff of the City hospital, Dr Wright and Dr Doherty from the Bellaghy Health Centre, Hilary NI Hospice Care Nurse, and the community nurses in Maghera Health Centre for their unfailing care of Paddy during her long illness.
Our sincere gratitude goes to Michael and Nicholas from J. A. Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera and Coleraine for their empathy, compassion and professional service.
As it’s impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgment serves as a token of our appreciation for the kindness and comfort received during our bereavement.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Paddy was the heart of our home and will be sorely missed. A much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will remain forever in our hearts.
Patricia’s Month’s Mind Mass was celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church, Glen,
on Friday 30 January 2026 at 7:30pm.
