The family of the late Michael McKeefry wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
We are truly grateful to all those who attended the wake, came to the funeral, sent mass and sympathy cards, flowers, text messages, and social media messages. Your kind words have been a great source of comfort.
A special word of thanks to Fr. Patrick Doherty and Fr. Kieran O’Doherty for celebrating Daddy’s requiem mass in such a meaningful way. Thank you to Sally and the Eucharistic Ministers for their help, and to the Gribben sisters for the beautiful music.
We greatly appreciate the generosity of Kelly's Eurospar, Sperrin Bakery and Walsh’s Hotel for providing refreshments for Daddy's wake. Sincere thanks to Aine, Bronagh, Nuala, Peggy, Stella and Roisin for providing the catering during the wake.
Thank you to the Doctors and Nurses at Maghera Medical Centre and to Glasses Pharmacy for looking after Daddy so well in the last years of his life. A special word of thanks to Dr. McNeil for the compassion and care he showed to Daddy.
We are especially grateful to Watty Grahams GAC for all their support. Thank you for the lovely tribute to Daddy and for the touching guard of honour, which meant a lot to our family. Thanks also to the Senior Football Panel and Management team for coming to Daddy’s wake and sharing condolences. As a lifelong member of the club, Daddy would have been truly humbled by these tributes.
Thanks also to the wonderful ladies in Watty Grahams club for providing the refreshments after the funeral.
We are especially grateful to Michael and Nicholas Gormley of J. A. Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera & Coleraine for the dignified and professional service they provided. Thanks also to all those who prepared the grave.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our heartfelt appreciation.
Michael’s months mind mass will be celebrated on Friday 20th March at 7:30pm in St. Patrick's Church, Glen.
