Acknowledgement from the family of the late Mena Kearney

The family of the late Mena Kearney (née Devine), wish to express our gratitude to the many people who sympathised with us, and supported us in so many ways, during the recent loss of our much loved mother.

Our thanks go to family, friends and neighbours for all their kindness, helping with the wake, and preparing and bringing refreshments.

To everyone who attended the wake and funeral, and who sent mass cards and sympathy cards, we are indeed very grateful.

A special word of appreciation to Fr. Paddy Doherty, Fr. Liam McClarry, and Fr. Kieran O'Doherty for the beautiful Requiem Mass; to Clodagh McCarry for her perfect music, to Gerard for the flower arrangements and to Walsh's Hotel for providing the refreshments following the funeral.

Also, we are very grateful to Michael and Nicholas Gormley, for their professionalism, and the dignified and caring manner in which they carried out all the funeral arrangements.

We are indebted to so many, and as it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Mena’s Month Mind Mass was celebrated on Friday 25th July 2025 at 7.30pm in St. Patrick’s Church, Glen.
