Acknowledgement from the family of the late Joseph O'Neill

We, the family of Joseph (Joe) O’Neill, wish to express our gratitude for the support and sympathy shared during our recent bereavement. Joe was a greatly loved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

We are extremely grateful and thankful to everyone who attended the wake, came to the funeral or joined via the webcam. Many thanks to all those who brought food, local businesses who provided food, those who helped at the wake and supported us in so many ways. Thanks also to those who brought or sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers, and those who shared messages of condolences.

We offer our sincere gratitude to Fr Seamus Kelly for his spiritual support and celebrating the beautiful requiem mass. Thanks to the sacristan Annie-Jo and also to Clodagh Quinn for the beautiful music and singing.

Our thanks to the staff at Ash Villa Omagh, and Oakleaves Care Centre Derry for the exceptional and compassionate care they gave to Joe.

Special thanks to J. A. Gormley Funeral Directors Maghera and Coleraine for the caring and dignified way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements, to those who prepared the grave, and to Dungiven GAC for providing refreshments after the funeral.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a heartfelt token of our gratitude and appreciation.

Joe's Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Patrick's Church, Dungiven on Thursday 15th January at 7.00pm.
