Acknowledgement from the family of the late Daniel Convery

The family of the late Daniel (Danny) Convery gratefully acknowledge the kindness and support extended to them during their recent bereavement.

We are deeply appreciative of everyone who visited the house, attended the wake, sent Mass cards, letters, or messages of sympathy, and to those who joined us at the funeral to pay their respects. Your presence brought great comfort to us all.

Thanks also to everyone who prepared and served food, and to the many local businesses in Maghera whose generosity in providing refreshments for the wake was deeply appreciated.

We are especially grateful to Fr. Paddy Doherty and Fr. Kieran O’Doherty for their prayers and spiritual guidance in the immediate aftermath, and for the ongoing support they have offered over the past month. Heartfelt thanks to Faoltiarna Burke, whose beautiful singing greatly enriched Danny’s Requiem Mass.

We wish to acknowledge the dedication and compassion of the first responders at the scene, the emergency services, and the doctors and nurses at Altnagelvin Hospital for the care they gave to Danny, as well as the aftercare they provided to our family during such a difficult time.

Our thanks also go to the volunteers of Watty Graham’s GAC for assisting with stewarding at the wake and for providing refreshments after the funeral Mass.

A special word of thanks to Michael and Nicholas Gormley of J. A. Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera and Coleraine, for their respectful and professional handling of all arrangements.

Whilst we cannot thank each person personally, we offer this notice as a sincere token of our appreciation.

Danny’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 22nd August in St. Patrick’s Church, Glen at 7:30pm.
