The family of the late Alice McMurray wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered sympathy, support and kindness during their recent bereavement. We have been truly touched by the outpouring of love from relatives, friends, neighbours, the parish, and the wider community.

We are especially grateful to the first responders and paramedics who attended Alice on 6th May. Your prompt response, compassion, and professionalism meant so much to us in those difficult moments, and we deeply appreciate your dedication.

Our sincere thanks to all who attended the wake, brought food, sent Mass cards or messages of condolence. A special word of thanks to Robert Emmet's GAC, Slaughtneil, for the loan of equipment, and to Alice’s neighbours who kindly helped with stewarding and car parking.

We are most thankful to Fr. Charles Keaney PP for his support and for celebrating such a beautiful Requiem Mass. Thank you to everyone who joined us in person and those who viewed via the webcam—your presence and prayers brought great comfort.

A big thank you also to the O’Kane family for their beautiful singing, and to Dermot Friel (Rafters Bar and Restaurant) for providing and delivering the food after the funeral.

A sincere thank you to Nicholas and all at J.A. Gormley Funeral Directors for their care, professionalism, and the dignified handling of all arrangements. We are also grateful to those who prepared Alice’s final resting place.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgment is accepted as a heartfelt expression of our appreciation for the kindness and support shown to us all in so many ways.

Alice’s Month’s Mind Mass was celebrated on Saturday, 7th June at 7.00pm in St. John the Baptist Church, Granaghan.
