Acknowledgement from the family of the late Francis Collins

The wife and family of the late Francis Collins (R.I.P.) would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with and supported us in our recent sad bereavement.

We are grateful to all who assisted us during the wake and funeral, brought gifts and refreshments, attended the wake and funeral, called to the house, and sent flowers, Mass cards and messages of sympathy.

We sincerely thank all the staff at Milesian Manor Care Home for their kindness, compassion and dignified care for Francis in his latter years.

Thank you to the staff at Antrim Area Hospital, Bellaghy Medical Centre and Bellaghy Pharmacy for the medical care and attention received by Francis.

We thank all those who visited Francis and spent time with him and supported us during his illness.

A special thanks to Fr Eamonn Graham P.P. who celebrated the Funeral Mass; to Una Magill for the beautiful music and to the sacristans and all those who assisted at the Funeral Mass.

Thank you to J.A. Gormley, Funeral Directors, Maghera and Coleraine for the very caring and dignified way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements; to those who prepared the grave and to Lavey GAC for their help during the wake and for the refreshments after the funeral.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually who cared for Francis and supported the family, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.

The Month’s Mind Mass for Francis was celebrated in St Mary’s Church Lavey on Friday 2nd January 2026 at 7pm.
