Acknowledgement form the family of the late Patrick Kelly

We, the family and extended family of the late Patrick Kelly, wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. We thank all who attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass cards and messages of sympathy. We especially wish to thank our caring friends and neighbours for their kindness, generosity, and support. We are very grateful to those who helped with transport at the wake.

A special word of thanks to Fr Keaney for his ongoing spiritual support to Patrick during his illness and for celebrating the Requiem Mass.

Sincere thanks to J. A. Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera and Coleraine for the professional and dignified way they carried out their duties and thanks also to the gravediggers.

Sincere thanks to doctors and nursing staff of Maghera Health Centre for their dedication and support; the Community Care Staff for their help and care during their daily visits. A special word of appreciation to the rota of local carers and sitters who provided Patrick with much comforting kindness on a daily basis.

Thanks also to Robert Emmett’s (Slaughtneil) for providing parking and the use of the Hall. Particular thanks to the ladies who served the food in the Hall after the funeral and to Friels Bar and Restaurant who provided the food.

As it is not possible to thank each person individually for the kindness and support received, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our gratitude and appreciation.

Patrick’s Month’s Mind Mass was celebrated in St John the Baptist’s Church, Granaghan on Friday 19th January at 7.30 pm.
