Mary Elizabeth McGuigan

McGuigan (Belfast and formerly Brackalislea, Desertmartin) 3^rd January 2026. Mary Elizabeth (Lily) R.I.P. Peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Lizzy) McGuigan. Sister of Kathleen McGinty (Atlanta, Georgia USA), Rosaleen Brady (Draperstown) and the late Michael Joseph, Nan Ingledew (Newcastle-upon-Tyne) and infant brothers Bernard and Benedict.

No flowers please.

Lily reposed in J. A. Gormley’s Funeral Home, 1 Main Street, Maghera, BT46 5AA on Monday 5^th January and Tuesday 6^th January and was removed to St. Patrick’s Church, Keenaught to repose overnight.

Requiem Mass was celebrated on Wednesday 7^th January at 11am. Interment followed afterwards in Keenaught Old Cemetery.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sisters, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, brothers-in-law Dermot and Edmond, nieces-in-law and nephews-in-law and wider family circle.
