Acknowledgement from the family of the late Nan Higgins

We the family of the late Nan Higgins would like to express our deep appreciation to all those who sympathised and supported us through our recent bereavement. Heartfelt thanks to the many friends neighbours, family and extended family for their kindness in calling at the family home, sending flowers, Mass cards, Sympathy cards, letters, telephoned the house, brought food or shared messages of compassion on all social media platforms and those who lined the route of the funeral cortege. Every contact was welcomed and appreciated.

We also greatly appreciate all those who attended the Requiem Mass, those outside the chapel and those who followed the Mass on the live stream your presence brought great comfort to the family.

We would like to express our gratitude to the doctors and district nurses of Maghera Health Centre and the staff of Glasses pharmacy for their care and support for Mammy.  A special thanks also to Anns Home Care Team for the dedicated care and compassion in looking after Mammy in her own home over the last number of years.

We are deeply indebted to the doctors and nurses who took care of mammy in Medical Ward 1, Coleraine Hospital. We cannot stress enough how grateful we are for the dignity and care you showed Mammy during her time in hospital.

A special thanks to J A Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera and Coleraine for their professionalism and care in which they conducted mammy’s funeral arrangements. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all with our sincere thanks.

Mammy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and mother-in-law. She was a joy to be with and will be sorely missed by each and everyone.

Sacred Heart of Jesus pray for her.

St. Pio pray for her.
