McEldowney (née McLaughlin) Maghera 12th August 2026 Imelda Marie R.I.P. Suddenly but peacefully at Antrim Area Hospital.
Beloved wife of Gerard. Devoted mother of Deacon, Gabriel & Gemma Rose.
Daughter of the late Patsy and Gemma McLaughlin. Sister of Anne O'Doherty (Gary), Martina and James.
Funeral was from 23a Gortinure Road, Maghera on Sunday 16th August 2026 for 11am Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Glen. Interment followed afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
Funeral cortège travelled along the Gortinure Road, Halfgayne Road, Tirkane Road and the Glen Road.
Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.
Deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband, sons, daughter, sisters, brother, mother-in-law Mary Rose, father-in-law Gerry, sisters-in-law Karen and Mary C, brother-in-law James, nephews, nieces and wider family circle.
This is a beautiful piece and a lovely way to remember Imelda Marie McEldowney. Such stories reveal the extent to which a person’s life and contributions can matter to those around them.
