Acknowledgement from the family of the late Monica Heaney

Monica’s daughter Siobhan and granddaughter Eimear wish to express their sincere thanks to all who sympathised with them during Monica’s bereavement.

A special thanks to Fr. Paddy Doherty and Fr. Kieran Doherty for celebrating the Requiem Mass and for their support throughout the wake. Thank you to Sally for preparing the chapel for Mum’s Mass, to Niamh McGlinchey for the beautiful music, and to all who participated in the ceremony.

We extend our thanks to the staff of the Macmillan Unit in Antrim for their support and care for Monica, as well as to the staff of Marina Care Home in Ballyronan.

Thanks to everyone who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, messages, and to all who called at the house and attended the funeral.

We would also like to acknowledge our family and friends who helped throughout the wake. Your kindness and support will never be forgotten.

We are deeply indebted to Michael and Nicholas Gormley of J. A. Gormley for their compassion, guidance, and support during this difficult time. We would also like to thank the grave diggers for preparing Mammy’s final resting place.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt appreciation.

Monica’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place on Friday 27th March at 7.30pm in St. Patrick’s Church, Glen.
