Acknowledgement from the family of the late Kevin McAtamney

Tish, Cathy, Shona and the entire McAtamney family circle of the late Kevin McAtamney wish to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered support, sympathy and their kindness. Your presence, messages and compassion have brought great comfort.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended the wake, sent mass cards, sympathy cards and attended Kevin’s Funeral and to our neighbours and friends who provided food and support throughout the wake.

The care and attention Kevin received from Kilrea Health Centre, the district nurses and particular to the MacMillan unit in Antrim had such a positive impact on Kevin’s final weeks and a special thanks to everyone who has given donations to the MacMillan Unit in Antrim Area Hospital.

Our special thanks to Fr Chris McDermott and Fr Patrick Lagan celebrating the requiem mass and to Fr Chris for his spiritual support to our family. Thanks to Bernie and Sean for the beautiful music.

Special thanks to Marion Hall for the use of their facilities for the funeral dinner and the committee for serving the dinner.

Our sincere gratitude goes to Michael and Nicholas Gormley of J.A. Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera and Coleraine for the dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangement. We also thank those who prepared Kevin’s final resting place and we are truly grateful for your care, kindness and personal attention.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude.

Kevin’s months mind mass will be celebrated on Friday 2nd October at 7:30pm in St. Mary's Chapel, Drumagarner, Kilrea.
