Acknowledgement from the family of the late Geraldine Kerr

We, the family of the late  Geraldine Kerr would like to sincerely thank everyone who helped us during her illness and at the time of her death.

Firstly, we are very grateful to all the healthcare professionals from The Royal and Antrim hospital, all the staff at Maghera Health Centre, the Doctors from Dalriada, the District and Marie Curie Nurses and the Home Care teams for their dedicated and compassionate care.

We feel very indebted to everyone for their sympathy, generosity and support given to us on the death of a dearly loved wife, mother & grandmother.

We thank our very kind neighbours, friends and relatives who sent messages of sympathy and flowers and to those who attended the wake, funeral, brought food and helped in various ways.

Thank you to Ciaran Bradley from Walsh’s hotel for the use of their buses and for providing the food.

A special word of thanks to those who provided an efficient bus service at the wake and to the men who helped to park cars.

We took great comfort from the spiritual support that Geraldine and our family received from Fr Paddy Doherty during her illness & at the time of her passing and for celebrating such a meaningful Requiem Mass.

The beautiful music provided by The Gribben Girls greatly enhanced the funeral service and we are all very grateful to them.

We sincerely thank Michael and Nicholas from J A Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera and Coleraine for the dignified and respectful way in which they supported our family during Geraldine’s wake and funeral.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please take this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.

Geraldine’s month's mind will take place on Friday 15th May at 7.30pm in St. Patrick’s Church, Glen.
