Acknowledgement from the family of the late Gerald Carey

The family and staff of Castlehill Nursing Home wish to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised with them during Gerald’s bereavement.

We would like to thank Fr. Graham and Fr. Gilmore for their support and celebrating the Requiem Mass, to Una Magill for the beautiful music. Thank you to the sacristans and stewards.

A special word of thanks to the Macmillan Unit (AAH) for the care Gerald received on his final days. We will be forever grateful.

Thank you to family and friends, those who sent Mass and Sympathy cards, messages, phoned and called to Gerald’s home in Castlehill Nursing Home, those who made donations and attended the funeral.

We are deeply grateful to Michael and Nicholas of J.A. Gormley Funeral Directors for the dedicated and professional way they carried out every aspect of the funeral arrangements. Thank you to those who prepared Gerald’s final resting place.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement serves as a token of our appreciation for all of the kindness.

Gerald’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church, Lavey on Saturday 11th April at 6pm.
