Acknowledgement from the family of the late Francis Lagan

The family of the late Francis Lagan wish to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with them and provided support during their recent bereavement.  Thank you to those who sent or brought Mass cards, Sympathy cards and shared kind words of condolences online.

We offer our sincere gratitude to Fr. Eamonn Graham for his spiritual support and for celebrating the requiem Mass.  Thank you to Una McGill for the beautiful music, to the Sacristan Tom Magill, the Eucharistic Ministers and to those who prepared the grave. Thank you also to Michael and Nicholas Gormley of J.A. Gormley Funeral Directors for the dignified and caring service provided.

We as a family would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Carers from NHSCT and One2One, to the Doctors and Nurses from Maghera Medical Centre, the staff of Harkin’s Pharmacy Maghera and the Marie Curie Nurses who were a great support in Frankie’s final days.

We greatly appreciated those who helped with refreshments and provided food at the wake and those who helped make refreshments in Lavey Club after the funeral.  A special word of thanks to Erins Own Lavey GAC for the Guard of Honour provided at the funeral and to those who helped with transport and traffic control for the duration of the wake.

It is impossible to thank every individual, so please take this acknowledgement as a heartfelt token of thanks.

Frankie’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated Friday 27th February at 7pm in St. Mary’s Church, Lavey.
