The acknowledgement of the late Rita McGuckin

The family of the late Rita McGuckin (sympathised with them during their recent sad bereavement.

We sincerely thank all our neighbours, friends and family for their kindness and support; all those who attended the wake, brought mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers, sent messages, provided food and to those who attended the funeral or joined in via the webcam.

We would like to thank Fr Paddy Doherty and Fr Kieran O’Doherty who celebrated Requiem Mass for Rita and for all their pastoral support. We thank Hannah Ferguson who provided the beautiful music and singing, all those who read at the funeral and presented offertory gifts.

Many thanks to the committee of Watty Graham’s GAC Glen who provided refreshments following the funeral.

We would like to thank the Maghera District Nursing team who took such great care of Rita at her home during her short illness. We would like to express sincere gratitude to Dr Logan of Draperstown Surgery who cared attentively for Rita throughout her illness, his kindness and professionalism will never be forgotten.

We would like to express our gratitude to Michael and Nicholas of JA Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera and Coleraine, for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

While it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please take this as a token of heartfelt thanks and appreciation from Rita’s family.
