Acknowledgement from the family of the late Anne McKee

We, the family of the late Anne McKee, wish to express our sincere gratitude for the condolences and kindness extended to us following our recent bereavement.  We appreciate all those who called at the home, supplied food, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers, telephoned, posted messages of condolence on social media, or helped in any way.  Thank you to all our relatives, neighbours, friends and wider community who came out to pay their respects, attended the Requiem Mass or joined us via the church webcam.

Thank you to Monsignor Curry and Fr Hughes for their pastoral care, visits, and for celebrating the funeral mass and burial. Thank you to Patricia Maguire and Damien Cullen for the beautiful singing and music which added so much to the requiem mass.  Thank you also to the Sacristan, Eucharistic Ministers, and all those who participated in the funeral liturgy.

Our sincere gratitude to all those who helped with Anne’s care over the past number of years including the staff at Diamond Doctors Surgery Magherafelt and the doctors and nurses in Antrim Area Hospital.  Also, to Stephen and the staff in Moneymore Pharmacy and to the Marie Curie staff. A special word of thanks to all the carers who attended to Anne in her home throughout her long illness most recently Kingdom Healthcare from whom she received excellent care and attention.

Thank you to Corky Quinn and all the staff in Kinturk Cultural Centre for the lovely meal they prepared following Anne’s funeral.

We wish to thank Michael and Nicholas Gormley of J.A. Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera and Coleraine for the professional, compassionate, and dignified way they carried out all the funeral arrangements.  A word of thanks to the grave diggers for the tidy job they did in preparing Anne’s final resting place.

Finally, thank you for the generous donations received in lieu of Mid-Ulster Multiple Sclerosis group who were very kind and supportive to Anne throughout her illness.

We hope this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as it would be impossible to express our appreciation to each individual.

Anne’s Month’s Mind Mass was celebrated in St. Michael’s Church Lissan, on Friday 12th January @ 7.30pm and was viewed via the church webcam on:
