Acknowledgement of the late Tony O'Kane

Tony’s wife Anna, daughter Louise, grandchildren Danielle and Ben, brother Paddy, sister in law Annie and family circle wish to thank those who attended his wake and funeral, brought food, gifts, flowers, Mass cards and sympathy cards. Those who travelled long distances to be with us and all who offered support and condolences at the time of his death. We thank our good neighbours and friends also “The Jungle” for their invaluable help inside and outside the family home.
Thanks to the kitchen staff for preparing and serving the food. We thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Garden St surgery Magherafelt for their attention to Tony over many year. Also to Fairfields Care Centre for the care during his short stay, also Magherafelt Day Centre staff.
Thank you to Annie the sacristan, the altar servers, Ann for the floral arrangement. Thanks to Anthony and Paddy for their musical contribution, the Eucharistic Ministers, readers, gift bearers and John for looking after the grave. To Mary’s Magherafelt for the refreshments following the funeral. To St Martins GAC for the seating and use of their hall. To Tirgan Cross Community Group for the use of their catering equipment
Grateful thanks to Fr Peter Madden PP, VF Fr Adrian Eastwood for the home visits and attending the Requiem Mass. Thank you to Father Dermot McGirr CC for celebrating the consoling Requiem Mass.
