KELLY PATRICK (PATSY) LAVEY
We, the family of the late Patsy Kelly, wish to record our deep gratitude and sincere appreciation to everyone who sympathized with us and helped out during our recent sad loss. We wish to say thanks to our family circle, our good friends and neighbours whose help was invaluable in the days following Patsy’s passing. Also, those who attended Patsy’s funeral mass, called at the J. A. Gormley's funeral home or the family home paid a fine tribute to Patsy’s life.
We are deeply appreciative of the many who sent mass or sympathy cards or made such generous donations to Patsy’s favourite charity I.H.C.P.T. (Irish Pilgrimage Trust).
For his long spiritual support to Patsy and for celebrating his requiem mass we thank Fr Graham. During the ceremony he was very ably assisted by Damian Convery and Niall Hurley (Eucharistic Ministers), Tom Magill (Sacristan), Patrick Boyle (Parish Secretary) and Niamh McGlinchey who gave an inspiring musical performance. They all contributed splendidly to a solemn occasion.
A special word of thanks to Fr Harkin who cheered Patsy up immensely during his many home visits to the sick of Lavey parish.
We earnestly thank the kind staff of Kingdom Care, The Diamond Medical Centre, Magherafelt, Antrim Area Hospital and the many Respiratory Nurses, District Nurses, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists who attended to Patsy’s care so diligently.
We acknowledge the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were conducted by J.A. Gormley Funeral Directors (Maghera and Coleraine). This helped greatly in unburdening the family at such a traumatic time.
A word of thanks, also to Fr Liam Donnelly who celebrated Patsy’s Month’s Mind Mass which took place on Saturday 12th November 2022 at 6:00 pm in St Mary’s Chapel, Lavey.
