Updated: Jun 20
Acknowledgement notice for Paddy/Pat O’Kane.
Paddy’s wife, Mona and his daughters, Ciara, Aideen Orla, Niamh and family circle would like to thank most sincerely our very kind relatives, friends and neighbours who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement.
Thanks to J.A. Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera for conducting the funeral arrangements and to Fr. Doherty for his spiritual support during Paddy’s illness and for celebrating the Requiem Mass. Our thanks to those who prepared the grave, the Sacristan Sally, and Una McGill for the beautiful music.
We took great comfort in all the mass and sympathy cards, personal letters, texts and phone calls of condolences. We are grateful to all family, friends and neighbours who turned out to line the route and church car park to pay their respects.
We would like to thank Kilrea Health Centre and Shield’s Pharmacy, in particular Martin McKenna for all his care and support.
A special word of thanks to Paddy’s past colleagues and friends in Monsanto and Longtower P.S. for their kind tributes, which were a great source of comfort.
Paddy’s month’s mind mass was celebrated on Friday 19th June at 7.30pm in St. Patrick’s Church, Glen, via webcam: https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-patricks-church-maghera
