Acknowledgement from the family of the late Mary Murray.
Updated: Apr 25
The Murray family wish to express their sincere gratitude to all of those who sympathised with them, following the death of their much loved sister Mary.
As a family we wish to take this opportunity to thank all of those who sent mass and sympathy cards. Those, who sent messages and made their support known during the wake and funeral. These were not normal times with the current pandemic and we know everyone felt this.
We wish to give a special thank you to Father Madden and Father McGirr. Father McGirr who was very attentive always to Mary during her period of sickness attending to her spiritual needs in Moneymore Care Home. Father McGirr was an immense support and comfort to the Murray family following Mary’s passing and offered her a beautiful requiem mass.
We wish to send a special thank you to Michael Mawhinney for the lovely music provided at the funeral, this leaves us with special memories of Mary and her love of music.
A special mention to the community carers, and all the staff at Moneymore Care Home. Although her time here was short we wish to acknowledge you all for the exceptional care and dedication you provided to Mary.
Sincere thanks to funeral director – J A Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera for the efficient and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were organised and conducted.
Thank you to the grave diggers and Bradleys for the lovely food which was provided after the funeral.
We thank all those – too many to mention, who supported us as a family through this difficult time and hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a small token of our appreciation.
Prayers were offered for Mary on Friday 24Th April 2020 at 07.30pm at St. Marys Coolcalm.
