Acknowledgement from the family of the late Ian Hendry.
Updated: 3 days ago
We, the family, of the late Ian Hendry wish to express our deepest and most sincere gratitude to all our friends, family and neighbours who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement. We took great comfort in all the mass and sympathy cards, letters, texts and phone calls of condolences.
We would like to personally thank Fr. Graham for the lovely mass and spiritual support.
We also thank Una McGill for the beautiful music.
We are equally grateful to everyone who turned out to line the route and churchyard to pay their respects. In particular, we were overwhelmed by the support from Lavey GAA club who paid a fitting tribute to Ian and escorted him on his final journey to St. Mary's Church.
The Hendry family would like to give a special thanks to the wonderful team of doctors and nurses in Antrim ICU, who cared for Ian during his final days with the utmost dedication and care despite these trying times. We are forever grateful.
It is impossible to thank everyone individually, therefore we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted by everyone as a token of our heartfelt appreciation.
Ian's Month Mind mass was on Saturday the 4th of July in St. Mary's church, Lavey.
