Acknowledgement from the family of the late Gerald Mullan (Portstewart)

We the sons & daughter of the late Gerald Mullan RIP, wish to express our gratitude and sincere appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us after dad’s recent death. To everyone who supported us by attending the wake & funeral, phoned, sent messages, mass cards, sympathy cards, letters and made donations to the NI Hospice. We extend our sincere gratitude to our family, friends and neighbours for their love, support and prayers over the last few weeks.

A special thanks to all the doctors, nurses, carers & staff in the Causeway Hospital, Leabank and Ratheane during these last few weeks, to all the doctors, nurses & staff from Mountsandel Surgery, to the Urology team at the Causeway Hospital, staff from Boots Portstewart and all the wonderful carers from Optimum Care, for all dad’s continued care in his own home.

We are deeply thankful for all the spiritual support given to dad and ourselves by Fr Kevin McGuckien, Fr Nideesh, and Fr Aidan McCaughan, for their prayers at dad’s bedside, in the house and celebrating his Requiem Mass. Special thanks to Bernard Loughrey also for his beautiful music.

Thanks to Mickey and Nicholas Gormley of J.A. Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera & Coleraine, for their caring, professional and dignified manner which they carried out all the funeral arrangements.

As it would not be possible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.

Dad’s months mind was celebrated at St Mary’s Star of the Sea, Portstewart, on Sunday 11th December at 10am.
