Acknowledgement from the family of the Late Edward Joseph Sargent R.I.P
We the family of the late Eddie Sargent R.I.P wish to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported and sympathised with us following the recent death of a much loved husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew and cousin.
We wish to thank each person who called at the house, sent food, offered up prayers, sent Mass/Sympathy cards, telephoned, sent text messages, posted messages on social media, lined the route of the cortége, gathered outside the church, attended the Requiem Mass or joined via church cam. Your presence was truly appreciated and a great comfort to us.
Thank you sincerely to everyone. We want to express a special heartfelt thanks to the Emergency Services, A&E staff and all the staff at the Cardiology Department at Altnagelvin Hospital, Derry for their care and attention towards Eddie and hospital chaplain Fr Daniel Mc Faul for his spiritual support.
We extend our thanks to Fr Paddy Doherty for the lovely Requiem Mass, Meabh Coyle for the beautiful singing, also Fr Kieran O'Doherty, church Sacristan Sally Mc Keown and John O’Neill the grave digger.
Sincere thanks also to Michael and Nicholas Gormley of J. A. Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera for the dignified, professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements and their help in guiding us through this difficult time.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will be a token of our sincere thanks and appreciation.
St. Joseph Pray For Us.
