Acknowledgement from the family of the Late Daniel McDonald (Dan)


The sons, daughters and extended family of the late Dan McDonald R.I.P. formerly of 17 Magherafelt Road Draperstown, wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement.


We extend our heartfelt thanks to family, friends and neighbours who helped out in so many ways, those who called at the house, sent mass and sympathy cards, attended the wake, funeral and those who lined the route.


Our thanks to all those who cared for Daddy the doctors, nurses and staff of Draperstown Surgery, the Respiratory team, O’Kane’s Pharmacy, the carers who looked after Daddy at home, and the staff at Antrim Area Hospital.


Thanks to Father Peter Madden PP for attending to Daddy in his home and celebrating the Requiem Mass with a very touching ceremony and to Fr McGirr, Fr O’Neill and Fr Downey who also participated. Also the sacristans, Bridget and Marie for all their help.


Thanks to Niamh McGlinchey, who enriched the Requiem Mass with her beautiful music and singing also Carn Media for supplying the webcam, Thanks to J.A. Gormley, Funeral Directors, Maghera for the caring, professional and dignified manner in which they conducted the funeral arrangements.


As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.
