Acknowledgement from the family of the late Catherine McErlean

The family of the late Catherine McErlean would like to express our gratitude to all who sympathized with us in our recent sad bereavement. We thank sincerely our dear neighbours, family, friends and colleagues for their kindness and support especially those who attended the wake, brought and sent mass and sympathy cards, flowers, telephoned, kept us in their prayers, sent messages, attended the funeral or joined via webcam.

A special thank you to those who directed traffic, brought food and helped in any way throughout the wake. We also extend our deep appreciation to all who prayed for Catherine during her illness.

Our sincere gratitude to Fr Ciaran Harkin and Fr Philip Kemmy for their comforting pastoral care, especially Fr Philip Kemmy for his prayers and support in our home and for celebrating the beautiful Requiem Mass. Thank you to David James for the beautiful singing and music and also to the Eucharistic Ministers and Sacristan.

Thank you to Newtown Pharmacy, the Doctors and Nurses of Beaumont Hospital and Letterkenny Hospital and we extend our sincere appreciation to the Doctors, Nurses and staff of the Donegal Hospice for caring for Catherine with such dignity and compassion and to Fr Shane Gallagher, Chaplain for his spiritual support.

Thank you to J A Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera and Coleraine for the dignified and professional way they carried out the funeral arrangements. Also to those who prepared the grave, to Naomh Colmcille GAA Club for helping in so many ways and to An Grianan Hotel for providing the refreshments after the funeral.

Finally as it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to all.
