Acknowledgement from the family of the late Bernadette McCusker

McCusker (nee McEldowney), Bernadette
Wife of the late James McCusker and mother to Adrian, James & John.
Sons Adrian, James and John would like to thank everyone who sympathised with them on their recent loss of their mother, who passed away peacefully at home on 29th January 2023.
To the family, friends and neighbours who sent Mass and Sympathy Cards, who called to the house with food, who attended mammy’s wake and who attended her funeral.
A special word of thanks to all of the carers and staff in Anne’s Careers who looked after mam so attentively and caringly over the last few years.
To Dr McNeill, the District Nursing Team and the staff of Maghera Medical Centre – thank you for your professionalism and care to mammy, especially over the last six months.
To Kellys Supermarket and Harkins Pharmacy of Maghera, who never failed to help and deliver a professional, kind and smiling service to mammy when she became confined to her home, especially during the Covid lockdown – your staff were amazing.
Thank you to Carmel for the beautiful music and singing during mammy’s funeral mass and to J A Gormley Funeral Directors and the grave diggers who prepared mammy’s final resting place. Thank you to Fr Paddy Doherty for his attentiveness and spiritual support to us and mammy, on her final journey home.
And to our cousin Kathleen, without whom mammy would never have managed to stay and enjoy her own home over the past couple of years. Always a smile, always with chat and fun. Mam trusted you as a daughter, we trusted you as a sister, we can never repay your kindness but will forever remember it.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation and a Mass will be offered for all of your intentions.
Mammy’s month Mind Mass was held at 7.30pm on 10th March 2023 in St Patricks Church, Glen, Maghera. Mass was viewed via: https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-patricks-church-maghera
