The family of the late Annie O’Doherty (nee Averill) R.I.P, wish to sincerely thank everyone for their support and sympathy following the death of an adored wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and great, great grandmother.

To all those who visited the wake and funeral, sent Mass and sympathy cards, social media condolences and tributes or flowers, we sincerely thank you.

To those who lined the route on her final journey and met her cortege at the chapel, including pupils and staff of St. Mary’s P.S. Glenview, your presence was truly appreciated.

To Fr. Paddy Doherty and Fr. Kieran Doherty who celebrated her beautiful Requiem Mass enhanced by the poignant music of the Gribbin Girls, thank you.

To Sally who prepared the Chapel and those who prepared her final resting place, a special word of thanks. Thank you also to J.A. Gormley and Sons, Funeral Directors, Maghera, for their professional, compassionate arrangements.

Finally, we are forever indebted to Rosemary and Bernie and the wonderful staff of Anniscliff House, Maghera, who afforded her a serene shelter for the last few years of her life, culminating in a treasured 100th birthday celebration one week before her death. Thank you all for your kindness and care.
