Acknowledgement from the family of the late Annie McKenna (Glen, Maghera)
We, the family of the late Annie McKenna would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
To all our relations, friends and neighbours who generously helped with the wake and funeral arrangements, we are extremely grateful. Thank you to everyone who called to pay their respects, to those who sent Mass and sympathy cards, posted messages online and to those who made donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
We are sincerely grateful to Fr Paddy Doherty P.P., Maghera, for his spiritual support to mum during her illness and for the comfort and guidance he provided us as a family. Sincere thanks to Fr. Kieran O’Doherty and Monsignor Kevin Gillespie for assisting Fr. Doherty at the beautiful Requiem Mass. We convey special thanks to Brendan McKenna, Hilary, Oliver and Darragh for the wonderful sacred music during the funeral Mass.
We are deeply grateful to Dr D. McNeill, Dr C. Monaghan, the district nurses and the staff from Maghera Health Centre for the kindness and attention shown to mum. We are indebted to all the carers who provided such compassionate care to mum in her own home.
For the professional and dignified manner in which they conducted the funeral arrangements, we express sincere appreciation to JA Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera and Coleraine. Thank you to those who prepared mum’s final resting place.
To the Oak Leaf restaurant who provided us with refreshments after the funeral, we express our appreciation. Thank you to Glen GAC and to all who provided equipment for the wake.
We trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our heartfelt gratitude to everyone. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
