Acknowledgement from the family of the Late Alice Mullan

Updated: Aug 10

The family of the late Alice Mullan wish to express their sincere thanks to all who sympathised with them during their recent bereavement. A special thanks to all family, friends, neighbours and the local community. Thanks to all who called at the house, helped during the wake, brought food, sent Mass and sympathy cards, messaged and attended the funeral.

Sincere thanks to Glenullin GAC for their support during the wake and funeral and also to the kind neighbours who organised traffic.

Our thanks to Sr Rosemary and Fr Crowley for their spiritual support. A special thanks to Fr Crowley for celebrating the funeral Mass, assisted by Anne, the sacristan. Thanks to the choir and musicians for the beautiful singing and music.

To the doctors, nurses and all the staff at Kilrea Health Centre and Wilkinson’s Chemist, and all the carers who helped us care for Mammy, thank you for your commitment and dignified professionalism. Sincere appreciation to J.A. Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera and Coleraine for their sensitive and dignified service and thanks also to those who took care of the grave digging. We extend our thanks to Brenda Bradley and staff from the Vines for the catering arrangements after the funeral and to Glenullin GAC for the use of their facilities. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our heartfelt gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Alice’s month mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 20th August at 7:30pm in St. Joseph’s Church, Glenullin (Glenullin, Mayobridge, Slaughtneil, Swatragh)
